As a shopping club, Lounge's main premise is to offer exclusive deals with limited availability to fashion conscious customers.
The Principal Analyst in CFA(Customer-Facing Application) team plays a strategic and cross-functional role. You will collaborate closely with Product, UX, Engineering,Data Science, and marketing teams and act as a bridge between technical data outputs and business impact — telling the story behind the numbers. You play a strategic and impactful role by translating complex data into actionable insights that directly shape product direction, customer experience, and long-term business outcomes.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Acts as the go-to analytics lead for product managers, designers, and engineering on customer-facing features (e.g., homepage, search, personalization, checkout).
Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and measurable hypotheses.
Deeply analyze how users interact with the application — identifying friction points, drop-offs, and drivers of engagement, retention, and conversion across Web and App.
Create a strategy, align with key partners, generate insights, deliver analysis, and deliver ongoing improvements independently for an ambiguous problem.
Develop in-depth analytical (user) understanding of what drives growth for the product and how it can be improved.
Be a data explorer, an educator, and a partner in decision making, while challenging and contributing to product decisions based on your insights.
Give (analytical) evidence supporting business decisions - investments, roll-out, and/or additional deep-dives.
Design, execute, and interpret A/B tests at scale; guide product teams on experiment best practices.
Pilot GenAI tools for automating insight generation, summarizing user feedback, or powering smart dashboards.
Lead analytical onboarding and mentorship across teams to grow data fluency, strategic decision making and experimentation culture.
WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have 5+ years of relevant working experience in a data-intensive analytics role where you learned how to work with raw data, such as in Digital Analytics, Product Analytics, or Business Intelligence, preferably in e-commerce.
You have a strong knowledge of e-commerce KPIs and how they can be defined and measured across the customer journey.
Strong knowledge of advanced analytics and statistical software languages (preferably Python), particularly regarding data clean-up and manipulation. Proficient in statistical models, prediction techniques, and GenAI applications.
You have a strong knowledge of A/B testing best practices and/or quasi-experimental analysis methodologies.
You are very comfortable working with onsite user behaviour data, from defining tracking specifications that capture relevant user actions to generating insights from the data (for example using Google Analytics or a similar service like GA4).
You have experience working with orchestration or automation tools (e.g., Airflow) and are comfortable building or maintaining repeatable reporting pipelines ( e.g. Tableau).
You have strong communication and data story telling skills and the ability to explain processes, choices, and insights to stakeholders across all levels of seniority and technical background.
