THE ROLE & THE TEAM
We are looking for a creative and trend-focused individual to join our team as a Content Ideation and Curation Manager, reporting to the Senior Lead Ideation & Curation within the Content Strategy & Curation team.
Your primary responsibility will be to craft stories with focus on Sports: leveraging culture and trend insights, in conjunction with predetermined Content Strategy and Planning, to create detailed and impactful content briefs. You will conceptualise how stories can be brought to life by the creative team, ensuring the delivery of engaging and relevant content that resonates with our customers across the mid-to-lower funnel. This role is ideal for someone who is inherently curious, constantly at the forefront of trends, and always seeking new ways to tell stories and curate content for diverse audiences. You will work closely with assortment and marketing stakeholders to craft narratives and content experiences that are both inspirational and commercially viable.
WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Utilise culture and trend insights to write detailed and strategic content briefs in line with the overarching content strategy and planning.
Dive into product details to identify unique selling propositions, and deliver engaging narratives that are compelling for various audiences.
Ideate and conceptualise storylines, enabling the creative team to bring these stories to life in an engaging manner.
Collaborate closely with the Creative team to ensure content stories are compelling, relevant, and aligned with customer interests across the mid-to-lower funnel.
Work alongside assortment and marketing stakeholders to develop narratives and content experiences that balance inspiration with commercial viability.
Write clear, detailed briefs that communicate the vision and objectives of content projects effectively to creative and production teams.
Leverage content performance, using insights to refine future content strategies and briefs.
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in content ideation, curation, or a related creative field, with a strong understanding of current trends and culture. Sports Marketing-related experience is a plus.
Creativity and innovation in storytelling and content creation, with a flair for identifying new and engaging approaches to content.
Exceptional communication and writing skills, capable of creating detailed and concise briefs that are easily interpreted and executed by creative teams.
Ability to work collaboratively across teams, effectively communicating ideas and concepts.
An understanding of customer preferences and market dynamics, particularly in the mid-to-lower funnel stages.
A curious and proactive mindset, always seeking to learn, adapt, and innovate in the realm of content creation.
Organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines effectively.
A passion for storytelling, content curation, and staying ahead of industry trends
